The Lovely Feathers
The Lovely Feathers sound like a giant Television-Pavement-Talking Heads-The Pixies-and Arcade Fire smoothie: unique, refreshing, sweet and chunky (and a bit fruity). The songs bounce and burst with energy leapfrogging pop hook over pop hook, twitchy indie rock guitars over frentic, catchy post-pink choruses. Although they may not be everybody's cup of tea, I recommend taking the effort to get to know The Lovely Feathers. Photographs here.
