Man Man
The lovable and quirky Man Man wields pots and pans, whistles and chimes, synthesizers and xylophones, and triumphant flutes and trumpets. The result sounds like a jaunty circus orchestra staffed by hyper, dancing pirates. Man Man were at Webster Hall a few weeks ago, opening for the Fiery Furnaces, winning over the room one song at a time. More photographs here. Unfortunately, I did not capture the group of young men who showed up donning fake moustaches in honor of Honus Honus' remarkable facial hair.
