Film School
I've had my eye on San Francisco's Film School ever since I saw them on a bill at the Great American Music Hall nearly two years ago. Film School make moody, atmospheric shoegaze-esque indie rock, with a nice pop of pop momentum. I'm glad to have caught them again, since I hadn't seen the band since an NYC gig many moons ago. The constant touring has paid off, and their performance was tight and polished.
