Headlights
One of my "discoveries" during SXSW Music was Headlights, thanks to the enthusiasm of my friends. One friend in particular exclaimed that they were her favorite Chicago band right now. Headlights make good use of a plethora of instruments, including the accordion pictured, and the interplay of boy-girl vocals. Their pretty, dreamy pop-rock was confident, bouncy, and polished.; I'm looking forward to their full-length on Polyvinyl this fall.
