Catfish Haven
A last minute, hastily arranged Secretly Canadian and Misra records SXSW Film Party meant a sparsely populated Emo's inside on a Sunday night, but I did finally get to catch Catfish Haven live. The name pretty much says it all: throwback bluesy and boozy rock'n'roll. Apparently the name stems from a member's boyhood trailer park.
