I Am Kloot
Apparently famous in Europe but barely known in the United States, I Am Kloot played to a room of about two dozen people at the Mercury Lounge a few weeks ago, on a bill with Apostle of Hustle and Stars. They were "too Robyn Hitchcock," said an acquaintance later, but I enjoyed their gentle, crafted, acoustic pop.
