Jonathan and Travis of Shearwater
More Shearwater photographs. Shearwater have got a new EP coming out in February that they have on tour with them, so be sure to pick one up. I definitely heard more of the folk influence in the new songs. Travis was absolutely smoking on the violin, rocking out and Jonathan's voice is, of course, gorgeous. Shearwater have great instrumentation that fits their long, haunting melodies, and then occasionally making a big racket. (A "shearwater" is a type of bird.)
And in further proof that I am insane, last night I hit the 100th rock show count for the year.
