Chinatown in the Snow

Growing up in Southern California, visits to Chinatown always meant driving to Los Angeles for dim sum and freshly baked pastries and bamboo for sale and kids running around everywhere in the sun. Seeing Chinatown in New York covered in snow results in a double-take, but at least when the weather's bad the crowds disappear.

I took this photo right outside of Columbus Park, far away from the hustle and bustle of Canal Street.
